What We Do
At Yeta Foundation, we believe that every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and a safe environment. Our work in Bukasakya, Uganda is rooted in compassion and driven by the urgent needs of our community. We focus on holistic development through the following key programs

Support for Orphans, Widows & Vulnerable Groups
We provide food, shelter, clothing, and emotional support to:
- Orphans who have lost their families
- Widows struggling to care for children alone
- The elderly and disabled who are often neglected
- Homeless individuals seeking safety and hope
Our care is personal, consistent, and rooted in love.

Scholastic Support for Needy Children
Education is a right, not a privilege. We help children stay in school by providing:
- Pens, books, and school bags
- School fees and uniforms
- Mentorship and academic encouragement
We work with local schools and families to ensure every child has a chance to learn and thrive.

Climate Change Education
We educate communities about the causes and consequences of climate change through:
- School-based awareness programs
- Community workshops and dialogues
- Practical demonstrations on sustainable living
We empower people to become stewards of the environment and protect their future.

Tree Nursery Bed Project
Our tree nursery initiative promotes both environmental and economic sustainability:
- Growing seedlings for reforestation and agroforestry
- Selling seedlings to generate income for local families
- Training youth and women in nursery management and green entrepreneurship
This project helps combat deforestation while creating livelihoods.

Gender Equality Education
We promote gender equity through:
- Workshops on rights, roles, and responsibilities
- Advocacy against gender-based violence
- Empowerment programs for women and girls
We believe that inclusive communities are stronger and more just.

Clean Water Access
We drill boreholes to provide safe and clean water to underserved villages:
- Reducing waterborne diseases
- Saving time for women and children who walk long distances
- Improving hygiene and sanitation
